The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum.

The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds.

For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

This classic Weber Kettle has been enhanced with our exclusive One-Touch Cleaning System. One tug on the lever below the bowl sweeps ashes into the removable ash catcher. Porcelain enamel coats the lid and bowl for years and years of rust-proof, chip-resistant service. Fire it up.

Lasted 25 years!5
I received this classic Weber Grill in 1984 as a gift. After 25 years of BBQ and grilling the bottom dampers finally gave out. I have cooked countless whole chickens, a few small turkeys and beef rib roasts, and hundreds of burgers, ribs, and too many vegetables to count. It is easy to set up the fire for different cooking methods and regulating the heat is very simple. Once the cooking is done, the dampers make shutting down the fire quick and safe. Over the last three years we replaced the old wood handles, and upgraded the grill grate. We will replace with a new Weber soon. In my opinion this is the best charcoal grill!

Great grill5
I own this grill and love it. I just finished two ribeyes and I can't complain one bit. The charcoal "chimney" starter from Weber is also a great buy. It was much better than my old no-name brand starter. I never use matchlight or starter fluid anymore. The cover they sell is also nice. My Weber lives out on the porch and I haven't noticed any ill effects.

After ten years with my Weber Kettle, it's time for a new grill.4
I bought this grill to use on the balcony of my apartment ten years ago and took it with me, when I moved six years ago, to the patio of my house. Frankly, it's a kettle grill with no frills. The one-touch cleaning system thing is a crock, but that's all right. It's a grill - you gotta clean it. It's gonna be messy.

Ten years later, and this grill is going strong and, let me say, mine has been very badly mistreated. I've NEVER brought it inside. I live in an area where everything closed down for Hurricane Isabel and I stood looking out at my balcony (with the grill sitting on it) and watched the wind blow the trees around and the rain come down in sheets. It's been outside for every single day of the ten years I've owned it. I clean it when I have to use it so the ash and old charcoal just sit in it for six or seven months at the end of the grilling season.

I finally need a new grill now for one reason only. When I bought this grill (and for the past eight years) it was sufficient to cook for myself and a friend or two. A couple of years ago, I gained a very hungry foster son, a retired mother, and the girlfriend of said foster son (who is here for most meals since she wouldn't eat otherwise). With the couple of friends still hanging around, I need more cooking space. This grill is not going into the great griller's beyond just yet though. Getting more space isn't all that easy when you insist on charcoal so I'm just gonna get myself another Weber kettle. I may get the 26" and I may get the gold or platinum but, I have to say, I soooo got my money's worth for this old workhorse.

Customer Reviews

Sizing is not normal2
I am normally a 34b in bra sizing and I am a pretty standard size 4 in clothing. When I got the 34b bra, the bust fit, but the waist was HUGE - ruffling, rippling, could have fit another person in with me, huge. And for the record, I do not have a very small waist compared to the rest of me, in fact, I'd say I am pretty square shaped.
I exchanged the bra, (and had to pay the shipping myself and wait 4 weeks to receive the next size down) for a 32b hoping that the 2 inches would do the trick. The bust is now rather tight, but hey, push up is the goal here, so I can live with that part. And the waist mostly fits- at least it doesn't fold over itself now. I'm not sure it's making my waist any smaller either though, which I presumed was half the point of the long line bra. The padding is rather thick in the front, so I am hoping it doesn't actually add inches to my waist. I have yet to try it on with my wedding dress. I am not really thrilled with the final product, but I don't have time to wait 4+ more weeks for a different one or pay for more return shipping. I would stay away from this product if you are at all petite.

Much Cheaper Than Buying From a Bridal Store4
This is nearly identical to the bra they gave me to try on wedding gowns with at the store where I purchased my dress, and about half the price. It fit true to size without pinching, and the back is cut low enough that it doesn't show with my strapless dress. It seems to stay put pretty well and helped hold my heavy dress in place without slippage. The only issue I had is that it does stick out in places when you sit down instead of lying flat against the stomach. My dress is thick enough that it isn't an issue, but it might not work as well with light weight fabrics. I am fairly petite and the 32 B fit perfectly without coming too far down on my hips. All in all this was an excellent purchase.

bustier3
This product was ok, not the best. The shape of the cups made me appear pointy... Not the appearance you want under a dress... Will probably never wear again

George Foreman Grill with speakers5
I was a bit skeptical about the speaker quality before I bought this item, but I am thrilled with it. I love the grill. It is easy to clean afterwards and it is nice to have music playing!

Great Grilling5
The George Foreman IPOD and MP3 Indoor/Outdoor grill is Awesome... Food cooks wonderfully! We've used it indoors and outdoors... Luv It!!!!

It's good. Not great, but good.4
Honestly, how great can an electric outdoor grill be? You aren't going to get a smoky flavor and the great marks of a charcoal grill.

That said, for an electric grill it's very good. The grill got pretty hot (I didn't have to use the highest setting to cook up a very tasty chili-marinated skirt steak, and a pretty good salmon steak. The convenience is great, and it's obviously safer. And, since we aren't allowed to have gas or charcoal in our grilling location, it's the best we can do.

The speaker system is fine -- nothing to write home about. It's weird that it has two plugs to plug in, but it's convenient to not have to have multiple devices.

Bottom line -- is it as emotionally satisfying to use an electric grill? Absolutely not. But, for what it is, this grill does a pretty good job.

How to Grill: The Complete Illustrated Book of Barbecue Techniques

Steven Raichlen is America's grilling authority. He is the author of The Barbecue! Bible, winner of an IACP/Julia Child Cookbook Award, and Barbecue! Bible Sauces, Rubs, and Marinades. Esquire calls him the "master griller." The New Yorker writes, "For aspiring gourmets of the grill . . . there is only one book: The Barbecue! Bible."

Now Steven Raichlen's written the bible behind The Barbecue! Bible. A full-color, photograph-by-photograph, step-by-step technique book, HOW TO GRILL gets to the core of the grilling experience by showing and telling exactly how it's done. With more than 1,000 photographs and lively writing, here are over 100 techniques, from how to set up a three-tiered fire to how to grill a prime rib, a porterhouse, a pork tenderloin, or a chicken breast. There are techniques for smoking ribs, cooking the perfect burger, rotisserieing a whole chicken, barbecuing a fish; for grilling pizza, shellfish, vegetables, tofu, fruit, and s'mores. Bringing the techniques to life are over 100 all-new recipes-Beef Ribs with Chinese Spices, Grilled Side of Salmon with Mustard Glaze, Prosciutto-Wrapped, Rosemary-Grilled Scallops-and hundreds of inside tips.

Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly
The giddy joy that comes with picking up this tribute to outdoor cooking is comparable to the adolescent thrill of sneaking a naughty magazine into the garage. Not only does every conceivable meat, fish and fowl get its turn over the coals, there is a whole Barbecued Cabbage stuffed with bacon and onion and even a grilled CrŠme Br–l‚e. Raichlen focuses on creative techniques, employing everything from butcher's string and bricks wrapped in foil to inserting a half-full can of beer into the cavity of a chicken: when placed on the grill it simultaneously steams the bird and holds it upright, allowing the skin to grow crisp. Indeed, Raichlen's (Miami Spice; High-Flavor Low-Fat Cooking) approach is anything but shy. However, to limit the book to a manageable size, Raichlen presents just one or two recipes for each cut of meat or type of seafood. Thus a single lamb is chopped into a new-world-order menu of Rack of Lamb Marrakech, Sichuan-Spiced Loin Lamb Chops and Leg of Lamb Proven‡al. Throughout, every recipe is made foolproof with step-by-step instructions and, happily, a photo accompanies every one of the steps. While none could be considered a full-fledged centerfold, it is impossible not to gaze upon them and lust.

Best Grilling Book Ever!!!5
This is the best and only grilling book i own. All my friends and family call me "the grill master" because that's all i do. I don't let anybody touch my grill besides my husband.I love the recipes in the book especially the beer can chicken one. If you have not tried it youhave to even if you need to get the recipe from someone who owns the book.

Amazing5
Like most any other American man, I assumed I knew all there is to know about charcoal grilling. Well, this book took me from a hamburger flipper to the talk of the neighborhood. I suggest just about anyone who likes to grill buy this book. The book is very good on different levels. The recipes are great. Besides that, the author gives you a thourough run down of grilling on all types of grills. He goes into detail about fire building. If you build a fire the way he says, you'll find that you don't even need a thermometer to cook. He'll tell you in the recipe to build (for example) a direct medium fire. Then he'll tell you to grill your meat (for example) 5 minutes on each side. Build the fire right (easy) and flip the meat on time, and your dinner will come out EXACTLY how the author said it would. It just doesn't get more precise than that. He also discusses how to grill almost every type of meat before he gets you started on the recipe. For example, a lot of people really don't know what to do with London Broil. Before he starts on the recipe, he tells you what it is, how it's cooked, and how it's carved. And he tells you WHY. Even if you don't want to use his recipe, you leave knowing what to do with any London Broil. His recipes are delicious, and not excessively snobbish/gourmet. If you grill, buy this book.

How To Grill5
You love Barbecue? You will love this book!
This book does not miss a trick! The illustrations and photos of the different cooked meats, fish, and vegetables look so real; you want to eat the pages. The recipes are simple and easy to follow. This book helped turn me into a Barbecue expert!

As the daylight lingers longer each day, the more carnivorous folk start salivating in anticipation. Barbecue season approaches, liberating meat lovers from the less-flavorful pan-fried steak or bland poached chicken breasts. Likewise, the vegetarians in the family rejoice in the prospect of grilled summer squash or roasted beets and corn, rather than settling for another head of iceberg lettuce and canned beans. For juicy burgers and veggie kabobs at home or at the lake, industry leader Weber offers their portable Q 220 gas barbecue. This update of the popular Q 200 grill provides extra lid clearance for game hens and roasts while maintaining all the original's conveniences. The liquid propane grill employs a 12,000 BTU burner to heat its 280-square inch cooking area.

Weber crafted the grill's lid and body in tough cast aluminum, framed by a heat- and moisture- resistant nylon frame with glass reinforcement. The grill ignites at the push of a button. A control knob adjusts the output of the stainless-steel burner. Users monitor the heat on a built-in thermometer in the lid until the grill reaches the desired cooking temperature. Meat sizzles on the porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates. Drippings follow the drip ducts to reduce potential flare-ups and enable quicker cleaning. Two polyethylene side tables attach to the grill for extra preparation space. For travel, users tote the grill by a heat-resistant handle. The grill affixes to a 14.8-ounce disposable propane tank. Propane is not included with the grill. Weber does however enclose a Weber Q cookbook of recipes and inspiration. This grill requires some assembly upon arrival. Weber offers a limited five-year warranty for this item. The grill measures 32 by 18 by 16-1/2 inches with a shipping weight of 45 pounds. --Jessica Reuling

Great little BBQ, but pricey4
This portable Weber works great and rivals my full size Weber. Lots of room on the grilling surface, built in thermometer is handy. The only complaints are that it is kinda expensive for a portable BBQ and the starter frequently take several attempts before it lights, where my full size Weber starts allmost always on the 1st attempt.

Great grill for camping and for home5
Weber 566002 Q 220 Gas Grill Big and heavy for a portable grill, but it really helps hold in the heat and is probably one of the main reasons this grill cooks so good. It's tough to slow-cook with a gas grill, but the integral thermometer is a real help and we regularly cook pork ribs, using a rib rack. The Q 220 provides a lot more clearance than other grills we looked at, which is a real plus when grilling taller foods.

GREAT PRODUCT, however I did have problem with the "regulator"5
This is a great BBQ grill!! We live in a condo with an average size balcony and since there is just two of us, this grill is just perfect size!! My initial purchase was a disappointment :( The grill would not start. I took it back to the store where it was purchased and it was cheerfully replaced. Please do not let this deter you from buying this great product. I did not have the problems others had regarding the 16.4 ounce green portable propane tank. It fit perfectly and worked like a charm (The original unit did not accomodate the 16.4 ounce tank, the replacement unit did... same exact model *puzzled, defective unit?*)!! I also purchased the stationary cart (highly recommended although a tad pricey) and it came with the hose to attach to the 20# tank.

The only problem so far: There is a common problem with the "regulator". Also, there was a problem with the threads where the portable propane tank attaches to the unit. This is where some had problems with the 16.4 ounce tank which did not fit. I have a new one now and it works great (it starts quickly and easily accomodates the aforementioned tank)!!! Weber has great technical support as well. Weber is a great company but not perfect. I recommend purchasing this grill at a retail store and let them test the unit before walking out the door. You will be glad you did!

BTW, I did purchase the BBQ utensils, stationary cart (come with adaptor for 20# tank), and the cover.
